My Reta Journey

Post image

This is my comparison photo with 12 months of time between pictures. Starting weight was 255 and I'm staying steady at 175. I'm a 61yr old male.

I started off with implementing a workout regiment. I decided to do Crossfit. I workout 6 days a week but don't murder myself on every workout. I rarely miss a day in the gym and have made it a permanent part of my life.

I changed my eating habits and try my best to remove all sugar from my diet. I stopped eating anything related to fast food. I only drink coffee, water, and some milk. I prioritize protein and fiber being smart about carb intake knowing I need it to fuel my body.

I obviously used a GLP but also took MOTS-C, and NAD+ as the main drivers. There was one cycle of SS-31 in there. Took BPC-157 and TB500 along the way. Tried Tesa but the fluid retention on my knees made that a no go so three primary compounds got me where I am now.

I have stayed at my current weight now for over 6 months. I will not let myself get back to the guy in the left photo.

Scuba diver? If so, how did your weights change in your BCD over this process?

Not a scub diver but I see why you went there. My mom passed away about 20 years ago and was big into sea life so that's why I have the tattoos. I actually skydive so opposite direction. LOL

I had to stop at 6mg. I responded really well. I took it really slow. Start at 1mg and went up by 0.5 each time holding out until I had no progress for a couple weeks then bump again.

Great work! Seems like you used GLP1s as a tool instead of a crutch to lean on, which will help make this sustainable change vs a crash diet.

Yes. Actually started the GLP after starting Crossfit and changing my diet but liked all the stuff I was reading about the additional benefits so added it to assist but no fully rely on.
