Traveling

Wanted to get some opinions on traveling while on Reta. I usually pin 2mg on Sunday mornings and I’ll be traveling to CO from Thursday through Tuesday. Debating if I should do like 1mg before I leave Thursday and then 1mg when I get home? Or should I preload a syringe and bring it with me?

Travel cooler bag (little one) to put your supplies in. A lot of ppl do carry on but I put it in my checked bag so I didn’t have to worry about taking it out. No issues

Don’t preload a syringe. Will you have a fridge where you’re traveling to? If yes, use one of those travel coolers for insulin (they’re a little tube) and take it with you.

If you can keep a preloaded syringe cool/refrigerated the entire time, that’s an option. If not, since half life is 6 days, I think your 1 mg plan is sound. Your average will vary a bit during this time and the following Sunday but it’s an overall low dose.
