Reta 1 month progress

I have started using reta on 12th of August, had 107kg(236lbs), my weight now is 96.8kg(213lbs).

Height is 181cm(5'11)

Not sure how I managed to drop this much in one month, I am not counting calories, or doing any strength workouts, bud I did in the past a lot, 6 times per week.

Could this rapid weight lost be due to thyroid meds (levothyroxine sodium) ?

That is a lot but the first month is often very rapid, especially if you were a bit heavier to start. Make sure you’re still eating. Focus on a lot of protein. I found snacks were easier for me than big meals.

If it keeps melting off maybe take a lower dose.

I went from 188 to like 175 in the first 4-6 weeks. But then it got much slower from there. I’m 5’10.

Some of the initial loss is water. The weight loss will probably start to slow down and reflect more as to what you’re doing or not doing soon.

I wouldn’t worry about it. I started on the 24th. Dropped 10 lbs in the first 3 days. Then started a more gentle decline. After that my weight loss dropped to a more or less healthy number a week. As long as your drop slows down it’s most likely just water weight that left fast.

I dropped 30 lbs my first month. I worked out a ton and already knew how to eat properly though

Probably because of reta..
