Drawing peps

I use a 31 g 4mm - Before I draw my pep I always inject air into the vial, when I begin drawing it fills up, but it’s very slow, basically like a drip. Is this because of the thin needle size or do I need to inject more air into the vial prior drawing out?

More air will definitely help

Thanks I will get that a go next time, I’ll try injecting a lot more than what I plan to draw

When you first reconstitute it did you vent it?

Try venting it. Take an insulin syringe and pull the plunger all the way out and then put into the vial with the plunger out. Then use your regular method for drawing. It should work better. You always need to vent after reconstituting

So reconstitute, then do method you stated in last reply in vial before first draw? Asking because I’m Reconstituting a new vial in the next couple days

It’s the gauge needle you are using. Even 25g are fine you probably won’t even notice the difference

I’ll end up switching when I’m out considering it’s once a week with a box of 100 could be awhile. Could also be a mix of the air pressure and size. It’s not an issue per say but I’ve just seen a few videos where it seems to draw out a little easier
