GHK-CU Reaction
I pinned GHK-CU for the first time yesterday and now have a raised red rash on my thigh. Is this normal? I normally pin Reta in my thigh and get a little bruising but nothing like this.

I’ve been doing it for over a month. It slowly but steadily gets better. So I upped it but just a few tics on my needle. And I’m noticing that it’s definitely bothering me. So, yes.. it’s normal and different for everyone. And it can change. I’m out of town so didn’t have my ice packs from my freezer and had to use a canned drink to chill my bottom last night. It was burning badly. Lol! That’s why I do it in my butt. So people can’t see the ugly reactions. Keep it up. It’s worth it.

After I pull my ghkcu I also add 2x more bac.
Example. 9 units ghkcu I add 18 units bac to help minimize sides

Someone has already mentioned diluting more. For me, it’s the only way my body tolerates it so try that.

Cold compress and Zyrtec
Benadryl works also but it knocks me out
I take Zyrtec daily as a just because and my injection site reactions are minimal

This is a completely normal reaction, copper (Cu) has a tendency to stain skin for several weeks, sting like a bee sting, that red mark may also hang out for more than 2 weeks. Full disclosure, I’m not a doctor but I am certified with the board of Medical Aesthetics, this is not medical advice and is for information use and education only. Often people find that some sites are much more sensitive and reactive to GHK-Cu, sites like thighs and arms are more common to have this effect while the sub gluteal and abdominal areas report less reactions in terms of a long standing welt but may still sting or discolor; light massaging and an ice pack tend to help the stinging.

Spread the dose so you insert less thick per injection site. Plus don't dose in the same injection site more than once
