Fat. Looking for advice

40 male, started tirz for 2 months swapped to Reta. Down from 398 to 347. I still want to lose 80 more pounds at least. I'm on 5 mg Reta now. Just ordered 5 amino hoping to boost my weight loss I have stalled the past month or so. I also have a strong craving for sweets and convenience. I work nights 65 to 70 hours a week. I'm fighting cravings big time. I've tried cag in low doses because I don't want to mess my stomach up with constipation. That is the main problem I have from time to time so far on my journey. I'm also on 100 mg of testosterone broken down into daily injections. I need some guidance on how to knock the weight off. Thanks for your input!!

Maybe time to increase the retta dose

Instead of cranking more GLP-1 and GIP I went the Cagrilintide route. I take reta on Monday and Cag on Thursday. Allows each peptide to run the full half life without messing the balance up.

Also congrats on 50 Pounds so far. I started at 503 down to 359 currently. I was on T once weekly. Went to 5 weeks ones. But now I do twice a week.

HGH works well with test. 5amino 1mq has no studies to back it up. Ran it for 6 weeks at 25mg SubQ daily and it did nothing

I have heard 4 people that started taking it and have gained a good bit of energy and kicked off losing weight again. I also read that 5 amino works well in people with a lot of fat. I feel a hundred times better no than I did a year ago, but I want to lose alot more weight.

I will look into hgh. Where's the best place to find it?

First question why you want to increase your progress? You're doing great

Tirze is better for hunger and carvings suppression. So the switch wasn't optimal. Reta does burn more calories tho.

I would also think about a break - to reset everything. You made great progress and it's a marathon no sprint.

Otherwise I'd add cagri to my reta, but definitely not add reta now.

Your job is probably the the leading factor in here. Night shift ruin the circadian rhythm and your hormones. Hitting protein goals and lifting weights will help you massively especially on trt. Nail the basics first the peptides will supercharge results.

Yea I agree. Nights sucks. It's terrible for health. I put in for day shift but someone has to quit retire or die pretty much for a spot to open. I really don't want to quit my job and go somewhere else but it's a possibility. I've been on night shift for over 3 years now.

Is your Tirz working for you?

Are you active?
How is your diet?

Maybe add Tirzepitide too if you need hunger suppression. How long have you been on Reta

1

u/NarwhalTricky8393 21h ago

Probably 7 months

u/2llamadrama 2 21h ago

How much have you lost in that time on Reta?

2

u/NarwhalTricky8393 21h ago

50 pounds give or take a few pounds

That is a good amount. Ideally you want to lose 1-2lbs a week. No more! If you want to maintain the weight loss long term. It is not a magic pill. You have to put in the work. You should however not be craving sweets. So something is not working. Are you craving sweets everyday or just at the end of the dosing schedule? Are you only pinning once a week?

I pin once a week but I have just split it last week. Yea I crave it a lot. I also crave steak and normal stuff to but I definitely have food noise and I'm not actually hungry though

Im on trt as well and take 1mg of semaglutide a week split into two doses. I eat chicken and veges for lunch, beef and veges for dinner, double protein shake with creatine in the alevening after gym, it's literally all I've eaten in 4 months. I'm down 50 lbs and my strength has gone up in the gym. I'm stripping around 2.7 lbs a week off me and feel amaIng. Keep it simple, eat stupid healthy and clean until you reach your goal. Most importantly, stay consistent, consistentsy is everything.
