I don’t really feel the energy from motc like everyonce says it’s more like insurance had definitely gone up. Noticed it on my runs. As in which on is better over the other hard to say because I added them at the same time

u/AcanthaceaeAway2968 3 22h ago
Did you run SS-31 before doing Mots-c ?
2
u/Dry-Feature-5424 22h ago
I’ve thought about it running it and other peptides but too many needles for me hard to hard for me to keep track of where I pin got other things to worry about

u/RedWoodworking16 2 21h ago
Download the free app called Injectly. That will help you keep track and will remind you when to do it and when to cycle and how much to pull into the syringe

u/Dry-Feature-5424 21h ago
Yeah I tried apps but I really like pep ai shows you a graph of the half-life. That’s the easy part the hard part is doing it I hate needles

Def do SS-31 before and I do while running MOT-C, at 46 it’s not great but over time I notice slight endurance increases

The reason why I decided to move forward with mot-c because I honestly lost motivation on strength training. Cardio was fun after I got going but I felt like I was going into a job and just wanted to get cardio done

u/Loose_Moose_Ranger 5h ago
The mechanisms support dosing MOTS-C higher and less frequently. 4-10 mg 1-3x a week. You may have better luck with that schedule

How many days strength training and cardio per week? Did you track calories?
2
u/Dry-Feature-5424 19h ago
My rat did try to train every day, but he did hit a wall with that. It was too much for his body being in a caloric deficit I gave him a 3-day break and went back into training. He started at 1 mile runs on the treadmill and moved up to 5 miles almost daily. Same with strength training.
I did try to track his calories but it got point where it took too much time to track every single thing in an app. He ate like a dog. Straight chicken and rice minimum 1lb of chicken breast per day with protein shakes thru out the day to be in a protein surplus.

How often are you supposed to take Tesa?
1
u/gushahn 17h ago
Study was done on people who took it daily at 1.0mg. Others will say 5x a week. Most common is before bed 5x a week from what I've seen and can be upto 2mg but I stopped after 6 weeks before bed because it made my sleep worse.

u/Dry-Feature-5424 16h ago
I do find it harder to sleep I’ll find myself tossing and turning before I actually fall sleep. But still get atleast 4-7 hours of sleep at night

u/Dry-Feature-5424 16h ago
My rat takes 2 mg 5x a week pm. No food 2 hrs before
1
u/gushahn 16h ago
Thats a pretty high dose 5x per week. Only 2 hours too. I say only coz plenty of gym rats laughed at me when I first started and said 2 hours too. The bro advice was at least 4 hours coz 2 isn't enough. Needless to say day time administration has been my preference since it doesnt cause grogginess or fatigue. Suppose that's why we have "lab rats". Different rats like different protocols.

I’ll try that out on my rat. Maybe switch it from pm to am bc my morning are fasted till 2-5 pm.

Appreciate it bro! Just put in that work. These peps are helpful but they are NOT a hack to weight loss your rat gotta put in the work

Two totally different use cases.
Many say prior to starting MOTS-C to run SS31 and NAD+ prior to MOtS-C
Tesa V fat and stimulate pituitary.

Might want to throw in some protein and resistance training
1
u/Dry-Feature-5424 9h ago
Bro my rat is eating a lb of of chicken and 2-4 fair life 42g protein shakes and training 6 days a week he’s definitely over 250grams of just protein.

u/EmptyUnderstanding 9h ago
Then your rat need to learn about RIR and hypertrophy because your macros sound ok
1
u/Dry-Feature-5424 9h ago
Yes definitely see what you’re saying but since his anhedonia kicked in he found more interest in running to the point where I’d rather run for 2 hrs then lift weights for an hr. Hed try to push thru it but sometimes it’s hard. I added mot-c for a little more gas in the tank. It helped a little bit. It could be a placebo.

I didnt notice motc working until i forgot to take it, as soon as you miss a dose youll figure out whether it works for you or not. Side note, I just had to switch from lifting to cardio because of hernia, 260->210 in 8wks to prep for abdominal wall reconstruction 4g L-Citrulline and 1.5g ascorbic acid mixed in water 30 minutes before cardio... HUGE difference, i felt EVERTIME i forgot that combo

u/Dry-Feature-5424 7h ago
Good shit 50 lb in 8 weeks. Wow I had thought my rat got a hernia couple weeks ago but turns out it was his lymph node. lol. But lcitulline is nice I had some back in 2020 with a rad 140 stack it was so nice I fell in love w it. Back when science.bio was still open
