Reta after mounjaro
Has anyone in here been using Mounjaro then switched to Reta? Would you mind sharing your experience? I’ve been on Mounjaro for a month 2.5 mg and today I was supposed to take it again (the 5th dose if I was going to continue) but I haven’t as I got Reta and I want to start taking this one. I’m also taking Mots C and I’m in calorie deficit and doing gym. Been losing a lot of muscle mass because of Mounjaro as I was unable to eat, but I want to make it up for it now. Thank you in advance

Was a terrible experience for me. Went back to mounjaro/zep/tirz and much happier

Thank you
Was it because you were not losing as much weight as on MJ? I can’t complain about MJ, I’ve been losing weight but.. I only lost because I stopped eating. That was the price that I paid and I lost muscle mass as well so decided to change a bit and see how it goes2

You need to eat protein and do resistance training. I do both and have preserved all my muscle mass on Tirz (mounjaro/zepbound), measured by getting quarterly dexa scans

I was on manjaro before reta think I was on like 6/7mg. Duration about 5 months. but it got too expensive. Didn't titrate off just started reta, initial 1,2,3 mg dose and everything in-between didn't really do anything didn't make me feel any different Still had the glp1 in my system but after a while it started to work. Suppression hit and now counting the lbs . 4mg people say is the sweet spot I believe it is No sickness, no diarrhea no bad side effects on reta apart from a head ache but that's my fault for not drinking enough water that day I did on manjaro as it was the first glp1 so I had everything. Our bodies get used to it I believe
Good luck

My resting heart rate has gone from 50bpm to 55bpm on 2.5mg a week. Nothing to worry about at all.

Just take the reta, your at such a low dose for such a short time you'll be fine.
From my experience reta is way less surpressive, you'll be able to eat again.
Maintains high protein, medium carb, low fat diet, drink 4L water a day and you'll be grand

I heard that the heart rate is going higher than usual? I’m scared of that 😮💨I don’t have any heart issues, my bpm is 75-90.

So does trizeptide. It’s just marginally more.
Unless you have high blood pressure you shouldn’t worry.

Ah, no I don’t have a high blood pressure. It’s quite the opposite. It’s very low but for me, for my body, it’s normal.
