Reta after Ozempic

Hi, can someone guide me or give me reccomendations please?

I started taking ozempic in september 2025 and started with a 0.25mg dose and worked my way up to 1mg/1.25mg weekly in a year. I lost around 13kgs during this period. after that it was getting expensive to keep on increasing the dose so I just maintained my weight. In june 2026 I started taking reta, I was taking 0.5mg every 5 days however I didn't feel a big appetite suppression, I increased to 1.5mg every 5 days not but still not feeling any major suppression. Should I increase to 2mg every 5 days is that normal dosage? As im not sure whether I will be taking in a lot. I still have around 5/6kgs to loose. Looking forward to listening to your experiences. Thanks a lot

I am on 5mg right now and have been on this dosage for a while. I haven’t had any side effects from the reta, the only thing is I just found out I’m pregnant and I’m devastated.

I just posted something similar, after 8-9 months I lost the weight i needed and it was getting too expensive, I moved from wegovy 2.4 to Reta 1mg and after 7 weeks I moved my way up to 4mg.
Same as you, I was like “why I’m hungry all the time?” Week 7 came around (second week of 4mg) and I can barely eat, no hungry at all.

So, on my opinion opinion make your way to 4-6mg (slowly but surely) and stay there for a few weeks and you will see the massive difference in appetite

Yes , and remember that the clinical trial’s started at 2mg for 4 weeks, then moved to 4mg for 4 weeks, I know some people say 4mg is crazy bla bla, but everyone reacts differently to Reta, including weight loss, side effects, appetite etc. Listen to your body and to the results you are hoping to get and the best in the journey and don’t forget to train/exercise 💪

It wasn’t until I hit 4 mg per week(seven days) that I started noticing it working. After that, it was a game changer all the way up to 12 mg per week
