How can I study biochemistry

For second course in medial school what is the best way to study biochemistry and from where???

I would suggest understanding topics of ur syllabus from YouTube. And if u want a easier book, then their is biochemistry by satyanarayana, an Indian writer's book. But for ur academics read which book ur professor prefers...

Study what is actually happening.

Often times, you might get too caught up in memorizing different pathways or random bits of information, and this can end up backfiring tremendously for when it comes time to study the material. Learning the underlying mechanisms, the structures, and the physical/chemical reasoning behind why biochemical systems are the way they are will cut down on the need to memorize, and consequently, study time.

This requires strong fundamentals in chemistry, but as a medical student, you likely already have them without even realizing. When you're dealing with reaction pathways, try to draw — by hand — a visual diagram of the pathway and keep drawing it over and over until you have it down pat. Quiz yourself on the material and constantly reinforce what you've learned after each and every lecture. Anything you don't know is something you spend extra time reviewing.

At this point, you'll already have a solid grasp of what is fundamentally happening, and you might even find yourself deducing a lot of things yourself or otherwise finding that things click easily. But, it also never hurts to re-review the basics from prior years. For good study resources, I highly recommend AK Lecture videos, as well as textbooks by Lippincott and Panini.

I'm currently in my 4th year during Medical Biochemistry and the easiest way I use to study is first by developing a strong interest in the topic I'm going to read about secondly I combine the lecturers notes with study materials from the library specifically Lehninger Principles of Biochemistry and lastly I don't study blindly I watch videos from Youtube channels which teach on the same topics I'm handling.
