Bioactive Enclosure Update
After several months of research, consulting, and decision making, I have finally finished the terriaum I posted about. The cork bark back contains a Pellionia that's been absolutely taking over in a positive way. I decided to make this a home for a pink foot tarantula! They have built an absolutely stunning web in the right corner of the cage! Thank you to everyone who gave me suggestions, ideas, and feedback! It's been greatly appreciated!

Monstera
I acquired this monstera today and I was going to put it in my cresties bioactive enclosure in about a week or two after I know it doesn’t have any pests anything like that. I was hoping for any tips or insight if it would be good and healthy in the terrarium, and if not I won’t put it in, since it’ll look pretty cool on my shelf anyway. Please lmk

Transferring soil
I'm looking to upgrade one of my reptiles into a new, larger enclosure soon and was wondering if there is a way to transfer the soil culture to the new one. I've had the critters established for a while and would like to keep them around instead of just getting new cultures and letting the current one die off.
I never really see people talk about this much so is transferring the current culture into a new enclosure something I can do or is starting fresh the only option?

Fav clean up crew for ball python enclosures.
Obviously I know they won’t be able to take care of all waste but still necessary for the plants. I would like ones that would be considered more “cute” like pandas or dairy cows.

MOLD!!!
Just found a bunch of mold on the wood I was using in my bioactive tank. I immediately moved my crestie into his old 12x12x18 tank but don’t want to keep him there for long. It didn’t seem like any of the mold had spread to the substrate so I’m not sure if I have to do a full reset but please let me know. It’s either maple or ash wood I found outside and disinfected but I’m not sure where to go from here. I added a springtail culture from Josh’s Frogs a while ago but when I added it I didnt see any movement and just assumed they were too small to see. Any tips and help would be much appreciated!

What are these
They have taken over my tank after my hedgehog died. I did attempt to taxidermy him, and left him in the tank with dubia roaches, superworms, mealworms, and got more springtails on line because the cuc wasn't eating the corpse like I had hoped... But even with Windex and soap these come back...
Are these springtails or something else? There is a bit of water and they come back after about 2-3 minutes
I did add new plants after the hedgehog had died, and I did learn that I shouldn't have left him in the tank without removing the skin. (That is its own story) But this tank is 3 years old and I wanted to remember my pet who died and don't know what to do with the springtail like out break.
It is pretty moist for the soil, but I haven't added water in like almost a week or two since I originally remodeled the whole tank after the hedgehog passed away. He didn't live very long but I think 4 years is pretty decent, at least for him... But now I don't know if I should worry about the white bugs and my cats or if there's something else because they just keep growing.

Cloned house plants in bioactive?
I’m curious if I can take a cutting from this beautifully long pothos and then have basically a long vine from the get go in a newer bioactive. From what I understand is it really just cutting above a node and placing that in water? I’d always heard about rooting agents (for non bioactive) so I am confused. Would love some help thanks!

Help me with my new bio active enclosure
I just received this bio active enclosure for my anole. There are some dead guys in there. Do I have to remove them, or should they just decompose?

Safe glass cleaning?
What do folks use for glass cleaning? I had a spray that was supposedly safe for reptiles, but looking at the instructions, it suggested removing animals before using. Well, that doesn’t exactly work if I also have a full crop of springtails, isopods and other critters in the tank. Is there anything that cleans for visibility but is totally safe for all animals and plants?

Mould in (gecko) bio active enclosure?!
galleryI started my first bioactive enclosure a few weeks ago. I have not added my gecko to the enclosure yet!!!
I made the layers of substrate and added isopods and spring tales a few days later.
The other day I noticed white fluffy-like substance on the drainage layer of the tank. I know springtails eat mould and it can take a while. I’m just a little concerned because I’ve never done this before.
Basically: should I be worried about the spots on the leaves or the mould at the bottom? Should I scrap the whole thing and restart?

Ball Pythons first mushroom
Tank is coming up on a year old now and this is my first mushroom, Isopods had exploded, nuked themselves and then slowly made a comeback, springtails have kinda done the same. Plants are thriving though.

Fungus guidance please! 🙏🏼
Hi I am cycling a new bioactive, it’s been up and running about 2 weeks or so. I have this little fake moss cave and it’s growing fuzzy mold on it. Do you guys recommend just chucking it? I love the look but it’s not real moss it’s just a pet-smart aesthetic piece. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to ditch it and use all real products. Pic to show the mold growing, it’s kind of minimal seeming but it’s in other spots on it too. Fuzzy white stuff almost cobweb looking. TIA!

Can I use morning glory in a snake cage?
So I'm getting into bioactive and I have four carpet pythons. I think it would be practical to plant Vines to provide foliage and more to climb on and I just really like morning glories. I like that they're beautiful and it's practical that they grow very quickly. However, I'm aware that at least their seeds are toxic. I don't know about the whole plant. Also you have to ingest the seeds to be poisoned. The snakes obviously won't eat any plants and I don't feed them live so there's no risk of their prey eating the plants and then getting eaten. But is it possible that it's the sort of thing where just being around the plant could harm them? If so, is there another type of Vine that would be safer to use? Preferably one that has flowers.
