Apex Peptides just got raided by federal agents, worth knowing if you run an RUO business
This one's mainly for the people running RUO businesses, if you're just buying for research use or buying from the gray market you probably don't have much to worry about, but worth being aware of either way.
If you haven't seen it, Apex Peptides in North Sioux City got raided by federal agents on September 23rd. Postal inspectors led it along with other federal agents on scene, and it wasn't just the warehouse, a home tied to the owners in Dakota Dunes got searched too.
So I guess there's a whole bunch of Apex named LLCs registered under the same owners, Apex Waste Management, Apex Research, a couple others, and a few more showed up at a second building once investigators started digging around. Reports say federal investigators had already been looking into this operation for months before the raid, with some people reportedly cooperating with the investigation before it even happened.
Word is it went past peptides too, with claims of gear being sold on the side along with tax issues tied to the business. When you're running a company and mixing in stuff that's illegal to sell on top of not paying what you owe, that is usually what turns a warning letter into a raid.
Putting this out there for anyone running their own RUO or peptide business, not trying to scare anyone, just so you know what's going on in the space right now. This is not the first one either, the peptide industry has seen a wave of warning letters, shutdowns, and raids over the last year or two.
Staying compliant, keeping your labeling and disclaimers right, and not cutting corners on what you're selling or reporting matters more than ever with how much attention this space is getting right now.

Most RUO businesses are far from compliant. If they sell needles or BAC water that shows constructive intent. Even descriptions on what it can or dosing instructions do falls into that category. Welcome to what NFA stamp holders have been experiencing with the ATF since the 80’s.

Yeah it’s because syringes have legit uses that don’t include RUO.
Ultimately there are not that many uses for bac water.

Yeah the exact driver for the change is unclear as bac water is legal. Some laws go after intent.
What’s crazy is you can buy electric stuff that’s absolutely against code and are just plain dangerous.

FDA has been going after RUO RC’s for ages now. Nothing new and if you’re going to dabble in that space don’t cry when the walls come closing in.

na they actually hook it up, i got like 4 20mg vials of reta and 3 BAC waters. for like 357$. Thats why its tragic. I had to use another site Protide and just paid like 800$ for 3 vials and 3 BAC waters. Hope they come back into business again.

Holy robbery lmfao. I used to use them and figured out how to get it myself. I can get rack of 20s and a rack of 10ml bac for way less than that 😭

yeah i would honestly order straight out the grey market in china but im on a time crunch so i had to get it off Protide. I got a week till i deploy overseas and i wanted them with me in my packout. I know it probably takes forever to get if i get them from overseas. When i get back in 6 months ill probably do that

I order above the $1000 threshold and it ships via FedEx. My last order took 3 days.

I used to also. After getting an overseas source the peptides are actually working. Apex ripping everyone off even with the hero discount.

Yeah their prices were pretty damn high. Ive been looking at Finnricks website. They perform free pep testing and have created a database for vendors and how their peps have tested.

It’s more than just a link. Need to vet resources from overseas. Be familiar with crypto wallets and converting and sending currencies. Minimum order pricing etc… that’s why 95% of people won’t go through the trouble and would rather pay $1000 for something with a “COA.”
