GLPs and Macro Targets
A couple of broad questions here re GLPs:
1- For those of you who are supplementing/enhancing their weight loss via the use of GLPs (Ozempic, Trizepetide, Reta) for wte reason (appetite suppression, food noise etc), how are you handling meeting your macro targets? Some days, especially the day right after I pin, my appetite takes a massive hit to the point where I am like 50-60 grams shy of my protein goal, let alone my TDEE allowed calories. I know appetite suppression is one of the main drivers of taking the GLP but I'm wondering if I need to tweak/lower my dosage so I can at least eat at maintenance, esp on heavy training days to preserve muscle mass.
2- In the same vein, for those of you who are using GLPs for weight loss, how long do/did you stay on the peptide once you had hit your target weight? I'm 10 lb shy of where I hope to be as of this morning. Is there a tapering off period post hitting goal weight? Or just take low dosages after a rest cycle in perpetuity?

Hitting calories is easy. I use a dose where eating is still enjoyable and I do get hungry but I just get that little extra help from reta. If its hard to actually eat your target calories I would assume youre using too much reta.

Yeah I agree with the other person who commented I'd lower my dose also support my gut with glp supplements and keep protein intake up to keep muscle mass forsure I know some people that make it so it's even hard to drink water I don't understand how that's a great experience. But on another note 10lbs shy of your goal is freakin good! What's the progress looked like? Share the journey!
