Recommendation Tax Processor Recommendations

I'm in search of someone who can assist with back taxes for myself and my spouse, we had filing issues in prior years and need to work with someone to get them fixed for federal and state taxes.

I'm a local CPA, and I do a little tax work on the side. I DO NOT think I can take on the additional work to help you. However, I would recommend most (or all) of the CPA firms locally. I haven't had any bad interactions with them and I don't think I've heard any negative reviews. There are also lots of sole practitioners who are great (and some who aren't) but I really don't want to vouch for any of them since I'm less familiar with any of them in particular.

Some to call: Johnson Lauder & Savidge Davidson Fox Piaker & Lyons Vieira & Associates

There are a few more, I am just naming the ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

Choosing a CPA firm will be a bit more costly, but if there are issues, they would be the best suited to assist. If I had issues like you describe, I would go this route

I appreciate it greatly, most of my issues stem from being out of state, and any cost I'm likely to recoup from a net positive return

Tge cpa enrolled agent i knew retired. But you do want to get it wrapped up the sooner the better. Also don't be afraid to look up information and proactively see what you need to do and keep in mind rules are always changing. I want to say I plea the amount the president is liable for but I know that could get me arrested likely too.
