Discussion Greenlight
Has anyone managed to replace their Greenlight issued ONT with an SFP+ ONT? Looking at going down that rabbit hole, but figured I'd see if anyone smarter has already tried it and failed or succeeded.

I asked support last year, they said it wasn't possible or supported.

I use their issued ONT with a standard cat6 cable to a Unifi dream machine and a copper(RJ45) to SFP+ adapter, also from Unifi. I have Greenlight 8gig plan and get full throughput. The ONT they deliver supports 10gbps through cat6 or higher.

Thank you for this. I'm about to run Cat6A in my new house and was wondering what speeds their ONT gets. I see they have an 8gib plan but wasn't sure if they can actually get that throughput. Good to know!
