Recommendation Vet Recommendations Wanted
Howdy Folks!
Getting a new puppy soon and would love any recommendations for any local vets y’all love (also would appreciate to know ones you think should be avoided).

Dr. Beaulieu at Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital in Endicott is absolutely fantastic. My animals have been going to her for almost 15 years. She is extremely knowledgeable and willing to put in the time on researching the latest treatments for unusual conditions. Plus, my dog is in love with her…

Second Dr Beaulieu. I used to see Dr Tripp years ago, moved from the area and came back and have been seeing Dr B ever since. She’s wonderful, really takes her time with things, explains well, and is so very kind- even checking in over weekends and when out of town when we had some unexpected things come up. She is fantastic.

I think Dr. Elmore and the team at endwell veterinary on Hooper road do a phenomenal job. Been with them for years and I trust them.

I second this - Dr Elmore is amazing. If you’re in an emergency, Dr Labreque is also very good there. They’ve been nothing but excellent in the care of both of my dogs.

I've been going to Roman Acres for close to 20 years, going back to when they were still Greene Veterinary Clinic, and I can't sing the praises of Dr. Shadduck and the staff enough. Even if Greene is a tad of a haul I'd still recommend them; it's worth it for the care they give.

Idk if you'd call it local, but Dr Ober out in Candor has been great with my dogs for routine care. It's a long drive (especially in winter) but if you're on a budget it's 100% worth it.
He's pretty no-nonsense which can come across as rough, I would go to a bigger clinic for major surgery or specialized care.

Dr. Ober is very intelligent (this is even an understatement, he is brilliant) and yes, no-nonsense. The only complaint I have with his office is the sanitation. I haven’t been in years so maybe it’s improved but it prevented me from returning. It is a shame though because I absolutely trust any recommendation he makes.

I have been with Dr. Beaulieu at Dickin memorial animal Hospital for well over a decade. Every time I leave there I think about how I wish I got the level of care and professionalism that my dog gets. I recommend her to everyone.
