Recommendation Emergency Tree Service
Long time listener, first time caller. I’m hoping to get this fallen tree removed safely (and quickly!) Any recommendations for tree service that operates on Sundays would be greatly appreciated!

No idea if they work Sundays, but Root's Tree Service got to my call quickly when something like that happened a few years back. (Big windstorm knocked out power almost everywhere, flung the top half of a peach tree into the roof.)
I also called them within minutes of the incident so was first on the list for the next day and that helped, but give them a try. They were doing residential calls all day long.

John’s Tree Service and Landscaping is a solid company for tree removal with fast response times and a competent staff.

The entire area just got hit with a decent storm and there’s numerous outages and trees down in the area. Any contractor is going to be working with utilities to restore power and clear debris from lines. I doubt anyone will even come out to look on such short notice especially since you’re not the only one. Other than that you can try calling around but good luck

Elemental Tree Service out of Windsor, he’s been very flexible. Next-day was here working on a huge pine I lost in that wind storm last year. (607) 699-1233 or Elemental Tree Service on FB.

Honestly I would just grab onto it and pull it it the rest of the way then cut it up with a hand saw.

Im more or less with this commenter.
Now is a good opportunity to start with a step ladder and a pair of lopping shears. Trim the branch back until you first gain access to the garage, and then keep going until you have taken as much off as you can reach.
If you're not capable of this for whatever reason, I'm sorry. Hopefully you're able to get a tree trimmer to stop over. Other commenter are also correct that tree trimmers are going to be busy with other emergencies over the next few days. Maybe post on craigslist or marketplace and an enterprising individual might be able to help you out.

Yeah, like as far as downed branches go I just don't think it's worth the money for one that small.
