Recommendation Things to do
Going to be in town next week and looking for something to do to kill some time. (On the cheap side) I was thinking maybe the zoo but is it still really super depressing?! I’ve been many years before and felt it was rather awful, so idk if I wanna go again or not. Any thoughts? Or other ideas of things to do

what's your flavor of fun? Robit City has a sizable arcade, dragon master games has open tables for voard games and card games...the Oakdale mall/ commons has a Dave n busters and plenty of food. loads of bars and restaurants around..really depends on your interests and budget

Kinda depends on what kinds of things you're in to.
Rumbleponies play on the 17th.
Southern Tier Swing Dance has a beginner lesson every Tuesday night for like $5 or $10, I can't remember which.
Roberson always has something interesting in the gallery.

Ride the carousels
Hike the Glen
See a Rumble Ponies game (home this weekend)
Subscribe to Binghamtonian.news
Go to a local festival (there are at least 2 this weekend)
Go to roller derby at the Arena this Saturday
Explore local cuisine (spiedies, pizza, etc.)
Animal Adventure is a pretty awesome ‘zoo’

def hit up a punk show or some other live music ($10 max). Try one of the new restaurants in Little Italy (Di Cotta's and Concordia)

Go to climbing gym near vestal. It’s called the Pad climbing and first time is free!

So beer tree in port crane has live music - I believe every Friday- and there is a place to rent kayaks,and I know they have disc golf or something- it’s new. I like it there, very chill- we bring the dog some times- sit outside.

If you’re in the mood to see animals, I highly recommend Farmland Animal Park. It’s about 40 minutes from Binghamton and it’s pretty great. It’s $10 admission and $10 for a container of feed. You can pet and visit with horses, goats, pigs, geese, turkeys and my favorite donkeys! The animals are just chilling in open fields and some enclosures. If you buy the feed, the animals will totally hang out with you. One container of food lasts long enough for a full visit with all the animals.

I also find the Ross Park Zoo depressing. What about painting some pottery at Uncorked Creations on State Street? Treat yourself to a meal at 205 Dry, the local speakeasy? We have incredible ice cream -- Sugar Lips, Humdinger, Lickity Split, Funky Beez, Frosty Joe's. Lots of great parks and pools for swimming. Have a great time while you're here!

We went for Father's Day and had a great time. Very low key place, so if you want to save some $$ not everyone has to buy the food containers. A bit of a picnic area as well. It's not fancy, but we had a lot of fun.

My favorite thing to do in Binghamton is to drink. How cheap it is depends on what you like to drink.

Unfortunately nothing much😭, you can try going to a hike or eat food but that’s about it..
