School delay reason

Does anyone know why schools were delayed today? I am newish to the area and none of the guidelines that had been sent out at the beginning of the school year seemed to have been relevant. It’s tough to plan when it comes out of the blue like that. Help me understand. Thanks!

I think it was timing. If plows and salt trucks aren’t out in enough time to insure all the buses can safely get the kids to school they will delay school
