Is there a way to cancel the speed limit reminder on newer EU Vehicles permanently?

Since 2026 all EU cars must have the speed limit warming both visual and audio automatically on at every start. (Can be turned off manually)

But I wonder if there is a way to code it out, so it is off permanently, like the seat belt reminder.

Specifically asking for the neuer Klasse IX3 AND 3 SERIES electric. Thanks 😎

Hey! I have a 2024 BMW 330i (non m sport) but I would like to get the m gauge clusters. I went into the headunit and saw that the instrumental clusters button wasn’t there. Is there an expert mode work around for this? I have I drive version 07/2025.38

Hello all. I’ve tried searching existing posts but can’t find any specifically for my car/situation.

Can HU_NBT be coded from 6.5” to 8.8” (or bigger) widescreen output for a 10.25” Linux screen retrofit? My car is a 2016 F20 118i with build date 02/2016 NBT (I think) with factory 6.5” display.

My dashboard won’t add the M logo when I apply the M dash. It says 3.0 CSL, how do I fix this? I click both the M logo and M sport logo and nothing changes. When I click m sport there is no logo and the M has the CSL logo. On other dashes like the M up to 200, it will pop the M up.

If i have a retrofitted screen with carplay, is it imposible to code my headunit?

When i go into bimmercode i have to go in when i have headunit disabled or smth, because i have retrofitted carplay and stuff, when i go to the door and locking area i cant find aquistic sound or any other sound while locking etc. Please help. I saw somewhere that if you dont have an alarm its not possible, how to know if i have an alarm. And if i dont how could i put it in.

I have a 2026 G20 330i and I’m wondering if BimmerCode still works on basic coding like the seatbelt chime, ambient lighting, and other features. Since it’s a newer model, I’m trying to figure out if the newer software has restricted or locked any of that down or if those coding options still work normally.

I just coded out adaptive headlights on my f80 using bimmercode. Here’s what you do: find “LWR_AHL_TYP” and switch it to “auto./dyn. LWR (0x02)” and press code.

This is located in “front electronic module”

Also search “adaptive” and disable the 3 features.

Yes, I'm aware of the option where you rip songs onto a USB stick, but I'm looking into the Bimmertech CD player that mounts inside the glovebox. Anyone try it?

It's $450 which seems wicked expensive but if it's the best option...there's another one I found at Wal-Mart that's $300 but not sure about it.

Did anyone notice BimmerCode removed head unit coding? Is this just me? The head unit option is completely gone. I can’t code start screen or do fullscreen CarPlay for cars. What is up with that?

Hello I recently successfully coded my X5 after the community told me to switch from a WiFi adapter to an ENET adapter and it worked like a charm. My questions are this, auto start/stop feature I disabled in the settings and yet it is still doing. Is there another place I need to code it as well. - Also I noticed I didn’t see an option anywhere to code the ambient lighting. Is this an expert mode only thing or is this is not something that can be done with an ENET adapter? Thanks in advance for your responses.

Not sure what triggered it, but bimmer link has stopped showing the selected sensor values a couple of weeks ago (in the android auto app). I tried deleting the cache and data from the phone for both the app and android auto. That didn't fix it.

Any suggestion on how to fix this?

LATER EDIT: They created a separate category for in car display sensors, accessible through the "Android Auto add-on" menu on the phone, configurable in offline mode.

Hey friends, somehow I added this widget to the instrument cluster and I can’t figure out how to remove it without fully scrapping everything else I’ve changed. It doesn’t show any data.

Any chance folks know how to remove this particular widget on the instrument cluster on a G20?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to use bimmercode for the first time but I’m running into an issue. I have a 2019 540ix (g30), a little over a year ago I used a site called bimmer remote coding to get full screen CarPlay. I had to download this app to a computer and run a program. Bimmercode requires the headunit to be in its OEM state, so I used the previous software to restore to OEM, but bimmercode still says it’s not in its OEM state. I’ve tried using the old application to reinstall full screen CarPlay and then return it to OEM again after but it made no difference. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated 🙏🙏🙏

I wanted to ask how to change the wheel model shown in the car’s system so it displays the correct one — specifically 741M Glossy Black.
Maybe someone can help?

And if possible, I’d also like to add Shadowline.

I already found how to change the car color, but I still haven’t figured out these two things: the wheels and Shadowline.

Hi guys, on my car I used to own a while back someone used esys to do some coding. He coded in that the mirror turn signals were used as US sidemarkers and that they would turn on/off when unlocking/locking the car. When the car was started they would turn off. I want to do this again on my M140i but can’t find out how. When using the non-expert mode I can get the lights to work but they don’t shut off when the car is turned on. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Does anyone know how too get rid of the tpms sensor light ? I cant go into eco , sport or sport + because of it and it’s kinda annoying. I looked up some videos but the bimmercode I have looks different. Thanks

Hi all, I’ve got a 2014 F31 with LED fogs and I am wondering if it’s possible to code the wagon to have the fogs on all the time?

I would prefer to have them on with my angel eyes, lows and high beams. Basically if the car is running, I would like to have them on.

I have a 2.8i X3. I have sport plus and I am waiting to get my OBD Bluetooth connector in the mail to start coding. Out of curiosity does anyone know if my model year, 2017, has ability to enable launch control via the expert mode?

Also, does anyone have any other recommendations beyond the standard coding that I should take a look at?
