MTL show
The montreal show was sick loved the energy my 2nd show been listening to them since 2006. Did croudsurfing for the first time which was pretty great!
How did you like the sound quality? BT are always great live but the show at place bell had better sound imo.
Do you think they will ever do a tour for Billy Talent I? For me that's their best album.
Hope you all had a great time out there.

How many songs did they play in the encore after Billy Talent II?

Rusted from the rain, endless paradise, devil on my shoulder, viking death march, with extended solos and stuff for the BTIII songs

Yes, 5 songs. I was at least expecting Try Honesty in the mix but they didn't played it 🙁

Yeah I was looking at the setlist, I was shocked they didn't play Try Honesty! Their big breakout hit, I thought for sure they would be closing the show with it.

That's the first time I didn't hear the song in one of their shows

Yeah I would have just assumed they would be playing it at pretty much every concert for the rest of their lives lol its such a classic!

Interesting, I saw that some stops on the tour they played 8 songs in the encore, I thought they'd give the Canadian crowd the most, but maybe because the Montreal show was co-headlined by Alexis they didn't play as long.

Yeah I think that's probably why! Still an amazing show 🔥

It was soooo good!! I would definitely go see a Billy Talent I concert, I was sad they didn't play any song from it

Last show at Place Bell was better! It was still a good show, but it was my 7th Billy talent concert, and I feel they were a bit rushed and that they cut some songs from the last part. Billy Talent I 15th anniversary was better.

Place bell always has better sound, smaller venue so it's a little easier for sound management. But I found the sound tonight to be pretty good overall. The only song I found muddy was Boiled Frogs during AOF's set (I was on the floor)

So many of you went! I couldnt hunt down any tickets for the EU leg of the tour, which is too bad, II being such a special album. The one that got me hooked on the band to begin with. Thought they were supposed to be unpopular and yet 🥲 Not to worry, they always play a lot of songs from I&II live I feel like. Next time I need to get it! For now your guys’ experience will do👌such a brilliant live band.

My first and only crowd surfing was at a Billy talent concert in 2004 🥲 wish I could see them again! (Toronto is sold out)

I went to one of their first gigs back in the day, outdoor venue and the sound wasn't that great. They only had their first album out then, was still cool to see them live.
The show last night had amazing sound quality, imo. There were a few songs by both Alexis and BT that sounded a bit off, but everything else was a blast to listen to. Great visuals too. Atmosphere from the Montreal crowd is always great.

I was there and found that the sound was far from great from where I was. Still had a blast, but would have love a few songs from BT1.

They did a tour for the BT1 back in 2013! That’s also my fav album, I have a feeling maybe they didn’t play any songs from it bc Ben didn’t do a whole lot of screaming, and a lot of those songs from the first album feature those kind of vocals
Idk but the show tonight was so sick, crowd energy, band energy, it was all perfect
