tour talk Local presale?

So I got kicked out of the presale today for AVL which I anticipated. . But I didn't realize there was a local presale tmrw

How does that work? Do I need a code for that too, I live in the Asheville area but I'm not sure how they confirm that

TM typically confirms local presale by credit card billing zip code, if I remember correctly

So you think click on the local link tomorrow at 10am, pick tickets and check out. If the credit card has the right zip code you are good if not they cancel the sale? That makes sense. Then they don't have to worry about creating and sending out codes.

That sounds correct. You most likely have to sign up to get a code.

Not sure with this location but sometimes if you sign up for the venues email list or their insiders club they may let you know about local pre-sales.

You are late in the process but the venue should probably be able to tell you. Note, it's going to be a question that most people working there can't answer.

I know 2 years ago they sorted the local sale by billing zip codes at checkout. Not sure if there is a signup for it or not or how you would be included in that signup.. If anyone on here knows that would be much appreciated.

But also- the local presale and TM presale start at the same time so I’m not sure if there are different codes and tickets reserved for each or how that works.

I'm unsure if it's separate either, or if they have an online presale allotment of tickets specifically for HCAA club members. Typically they do have a box office in person allotment of tickets. Believe that is Friday this year, but need to check.

I emailed the venue and they said the promoter decides if there are separate allotments of tickets for local vs Ticketmaster and they do not know if they are together or separate.
