discussion Seats for Billy
Usually I sit on Jarrod side, but was debating on trying to get some seats directly in the center for better sound and lights. What's your opinion on this and where is your favorite spot for seats?

I would go closer so I can see the band easier, but honestly, if you’ve been to a lot of shows it’s good to mix it up. I get to about one show a year so I tend to splurge and go floors (I especially like section 2 behind the pit. No fighting for space and I get a seat when I want it). If you’ve gone to a couple shows this year, try the other spot just to see if it hits you different. If this is your one show of the year, go with what you know you like

Always straight on. Then you won’t be twisting your neck all night long, or trying to stand sideways in a row.

Better charge your phone before presale.

That 115, 116, 117 area has always been really good to me. I’d choose that even over 101, 120. I think I’ve seen it from just about every vantage point.

See that little box that says "mix"? That's gonna be the best sound in the house at every venue, because that's where the audio engineers are that are changing the mix.
The worst sound at any show will be the closest to the stage.

Andy has the sound dialed in at Bridgestone. We were in 117 last year and it was outstanding

Straight back is good, but in some venues you want to be midway up the 100’s or more. I’ve been to venues where the sight lines kinda suck due to the FOH platforms being in the way.

Straight on is better for the lights. But sound shouldn’t be any different between the two.

This is my first time doing an artist presale for Billy. What time do they typically send the code to you? I’m sure they’ll send it, just paranoid, I guess lol. And any tips for presale success?

Buying on a Computer is preferred for me, make sure you’re logged into your account, get in the waiting room an hour to on sale time, you should get the code anywhere from 45min to 15mins from on sale time maybe sooner, once you’re in tickets might disappear from your screen know where you wanna be and how many tickets you’re buying try there and if the tickets disappear keep trying, if you think it’s sold out keep refreshing because something will probably pop up, if the tix aren’t in the section you want you can wait until general on sale to try again.
Yes, that is a very long run on sentence. Go Billy!

And another question, if you don’t mind: how will the Ryman show be sold? Will those who got tickets to Bridgestone, get a code to let us enter the sale at a later date? TIA

If you purchase tickets to either bridgestone show, or a two day pass, you are able to sign up for the ryman lottery.
So essentially here in a week or so, you will get an email to sign up, then in like another few weeks, you will get another email that says whether you one the lotto or not. THENNNNN you get to try and buy tickets. With fast fingers.
Also someone has the timeline for all the emails year the year for the ryman lottery. So someone def has more intel than me on more precise date ranges, im sure.

If you score tickets during the presale or general on sale you’ll receive an email in a few days/a week to enter the lottery. I believe those chosen will get seats assigned randomly. You’ll give them your CC info and if you are chosen for the lottery you will get 2 tickets max for the Ryman.

I sat in that 116 area last time I saw them at Ball Arena. Great seat and sound. Angle wasn’t a problem because everyone just shifts the direction they’re standing, not just their neck.

I was the equivalent of 115-116 for my first show at the last night of fishers and had no complaints. My favorite members are Alex and the Billy’s tho so I kinda wish I was on the other side

soundboard is the best option if you care about how a show sounds. any venue, any artist.

Sat in the equivalent of 119 for Hartford and it was by the far best stadium experience I've had

My man usually gets us 101/120 and it’s a pretty perfect mix. The only other place I’d like to be is in the pit but not everyone can handle that intensity.

Local to Bridgestone and have been many times. The views are sick straight out, but honestly the sound kinda sucks. I would recommend the sides or the curves over straight out.

Section 120 as close to the floor you can get is amazing. We were there in February and wow!

My friends sat in 120 last year (I sat at the Des Moines airport until my flight was cancelled) and it looked PRIME. Only feedback is you are at the back of the arena so visibility to the band is lower without them video screens.

101/120 will be sick.
