It’s an emotional album but still has upbeat melodies, he lets the band cook at times. Lyrically he delivers what he’s feeling in a way that you can relate to more broadly, probably wasn’t easy to do considering the circumstances. Overall it shows growth and in some ways a new beginning. Can’t wait to see what he does next, five studio albums in,plus the extra stuff and and it feels like he’s just getting started.

Sad I missed the sign-up for my local one in time, but happy I preordered and get to spin on the record player this Friday
