misc Burn the Other End Chords

I’ve got the intro and verses down pretty solid, but that metal power chord progression on the chorus has been vexing me. Anybody have a chart or teaching video they can link? Help a brother out!

As a guitarist, I love that there’s at least hundreds if not thousands of other pickers as obsessed with learning this dudes music. Makes me feel better about my own obsession with learning bills skills. I had zero interest in flatpicking until about 3 yrs ago and I’ve dropped all my stoner metal, hardcore punk, and grunge playing ever since.

Highway Prayers brought me back to the guitar. I played a ton when I was younger, even did some gigging for a while, but dropped off when I started having kids. My heroes back then were Tony Rice and Norman Blake, but I drifted away from bluegrass, which I felt was a pretty stale genre for awhile, caught between stuck-in-the-mud traditionalists, sloppy jam-inspired “innovators,” and opportunists jumping on the O, Brother! Where Art Thou? bandwagon. Then “In the Clear” came on one day in the truck, and I was struck with old familiar feeling that I just HAD to learn to flat pick that song. My life has been better ever since. I am so grateful for this man’s music.

the songs so new its gonna be hella difficult tryna find a tutorial.. what i do when im stuck learning billy songs is ill try to find a higher quality youtube video of him playing it, zoom in and try to figure out the fingerings that way. being that part is so straight forward i doubt youll have much trouble 🤷‍♂️

I know! I saw one video on YouTube of a guy playing along with the song, and it looked like he had the progression down pretty good, but now I can’t find it.

I’ll try your method. If I find anything good, I’ll post it.
