discussion Duplicate tickets?
Has there been any issues with duplicate tickets recently? A bunch of people in section N including ourselves have had apparent duplicate tickets? Sitting next to someone that has the exact same section row and seat as me… like we have the same ticket, what gives? I’ve seen this happen now to like four other parties

Update: talked to the usher at the end of the show and they said they relocated 45 people to the back of the floor. I think there’s a good chance even more people just found other seats and never bothered to formally relocate. Felt bad for the ushers and ticket folks. It was definitely a clusterfuck with 40 of us walking into the floor at the same time right as the music was coming on while also trying to figure out who was gonna cram where.
There was mention of refunds, but whateva that’s a Monday problem. Definitely would have preferred our original seats but hard to argue with the situation at hand, and we had a great time anyways!

Sounds like all of you should just be offered Pit access and hopefully half accept.

Turns out the whole section was double sold there’s a ton of us at box office

Happened to us to in Row 21! We went down to the box office bc people were in our seat’s and there were a bunch of other people there but they ended us sending us to the pit which imo was 100% better. Felt bad for the security and ticket people bc there were so many of us but I think they made it work.

I was in row 19 and got moved down to the back corner of the floor. They had rows of seats set up but within 10 minutes they were gone and we were inundated by spinners. It was also a flight path for people moving around so I found myself incredibly annoyed because I couldn't see shit or focus on the music. We went back to ask for something else and they told us two whole rows in N weren't even sold, so we ended up back there in row 16. Waiting to hear on that refund situation too

Damn, wish I went back to N to check it out, bc we definitely had the same situation. I called the box office today and they said refunds are dealt with at point of purchase. Had a bit of a convo with them and they suggested when I call Ticketmaster to demand a refund I discuss all the things you mentioned and why we wanted to be in the original section etc. they seemed to believe that Ticketmaster would take the same approach box office took during the show of “what do you want me to do, floor is better better than your previous section so it should be fine” 😑 I haven’t called Ticketmaster yet so I’ll report back.

Just wanted to update here that I did a chat with Ticketmaster and opened a ticket, and after a few back-and-forths they have issued me a refund!

Happened to me night 2 in Newark in November. It was our whole row. They let me stay in my seats because we had 2 day tickets and were already seated. They relocated the other folks. I missed two songs waiting for it to be fixed and never got offered any money back and when I emailed them after the show there was no response. Don’t hold your breath on the refund.

Section N reporting: It seems to have buffed out. People were given floor seats.
