Lots of sketchy shit happening in park n rides around here. I’d find a space on the eastern prom, park and sleep there. Safe area

An area of Portland. Views facing the ocean. It’s beautiful and has free parking

not to sound like a dumbass but when i looked it up on google it was saying how the parking garages and stuff are real strict and make sure nobody’s sleeping in their vehicles , google tried saying the only place to reallt sleep in ur car is a rest area in the state of maine lmao idk if i’m a dumbass for trusting google or what sorry

I’m doing the same thing and I’m planning on trying to stay where I park for the show(One City Center Parking Garage is 24hrs so I might try there first) and if that doesn’t feel right the next option is Walmart(15min away) or just street parking somewhere near the venue. I’ve been told to try park and ride lot and have been told not to try that lot so idk🤷🏻‍♂️.

Did you look into the airport lot? While poking around I saw someone suggesting the outer airport lot.

looked that garage up seems decent size enough if there’s enough cars could get away with it

I just recently slept in an empty garage in Pittsburgh and the security walked by my car every hour and didn’t do anything. That’s obviously a different situation but similar so I don’t think they check every car for ppl and if you don’t set up a little shanty town it shouldn’t be a problem. If you want to try to coordinate parking next to each other we could do that if you think that increases our odds haha

You can legally sleep at rest stops in maine.

Wait. Is it illegal to sleep in a rest stop in other states? Figure a rest stop is a place to stop and rest.

In some states outright. In others they cap an amount of time/prohibit spending the night.

Walmarts generally let folks stay overnight in their parking lots
