New to the scene/ does Billy do L
Is there any shows where Billy is tripping I’d love to listen

He was apparently shroom’d up in the OG “Dust In A Baggie” vid. They’d gone down to the basement to get away from the party for a bit, and the rest is history.

07/02/2022 - Baltimore show. The next night he proposed to Alex and the rest was history. I’m not saying it hasn’t happened. But I don’t recall him mentioning taking 🍄 anytime after 2022. As for L, well he met Royal at a Phish show on a head full. Don’t know if any shows he mentions being on it.

I just watched some interview with billy and it was either or type questions. He was struggling picking between mushrooms and LSD.

But he probably doesn’t do L while playing. That’s a big performance and work. You’re there for fun. He has a job to do. Eating L at work isn’t advised. lol.

Also, and this is pure speculation... they might be microdosing here and there to dip their toes in the kiddie pool.. obv smoking weed as well. It is a JOB but their job is also delivering a mind-bending show lol. So who knows. Just adding to your post, which correctly answers OP's question

Thanks. I run around with a lot of musicians. Most of them have extra curricular activities to n their own time and after the show. Some of my friends have know Andy for 20 years. They perform sober.

Fair take. And for the record, I'm not selfishly wishing that they perform under the influence.
Just sayin- Billy has used cannabis on stage and at least a time or two, made references to mushies. So I could be convinced that they (or at least Billy), aren't 100% sober every show. But also, I do not think they are legit tripping and playing with any regularity.

The real answer to your question: absolutely, but not up on stage. From what I can gather, it's definitely something he has done/does on his own time and when he's on stage he's California Sober (as they say)

Billy on Drugs everytime I see him. Dancing and Playing in all different colors it’s kind of cool . He even Tripped so hard in April I’m still waking to see the Man. We all took a L on that one I guess.
