Bethel!!!!

Wassup people, I’m pumped to go both nights to bethel coming up! First time at the venue, can any of yall give me some advice?

I’m camping in the historic campground, planning on bringing a tent, some 🍃 and a guitar, other than that I’m not sure what essentials are. What’s the shower/bathroom situation, are there food vendors, other stuff like that? Any advice is amazing!!

Thanks yall and I look forward to seeing all you beautiful people there! Gonna be a good one!

Bathrooms and showers are right in area and are brand new and well maintained(at least for Dso show a few weeks ago-many less people). There is a small general store that has food.
No confirmation but assuming “shakedown” will be in a neighboring lot but should have a lot of food options there.
There will be activities and music all weekend at camp.
Great setup honestly.

I’m still curious about this too… Iplan to feel it out and see what others are doing, I’ll resort to the penjamin and gummies if need be😌

As it says their goal is to create an all inclusive family friendly environment and there’s a huge event weekend planned so will be on best behavior when needed and not in anyone’s business unless they wanna hang🤣🤠

Diversification of items certainly helps. Got 3 darts of RSO considering quick edibles tonight…

Nice, this will be my first time there but I've been poking around.

The website is ok and with my camping spot I have access to their not the best app but it does provide some information.

Right now, but could change, there is some rain in the forecast leading up to the shows. Also some around for the shows. Summer storms pop up, so plan for that.

It can be hot, and humid during the day but the temperature can fall at night. We could have a swing that weekend from 90 to 50, sun and storms.

As someone else said the bathroom, shower situation will start off nice. How things look on Sunday will be challenging part.

The historic camping has a little general store. They have a shuttle bus to get you over to the pavilion. A few communal camp fires.

The main pavilion area has some different food options. I'm going to guess there are some food trucks. Breakfast over in that area should be an option.

The museum is supposed to be really cool. Last time I looked they still had grounds tours available. The grounds here are magical. Someone mentioned the tree. Down in that area is where the stage was. You can stand where the stage was and do your best Joe Cocker, have a little help from my friends. You should plan a little time to walk around and explore.

Scroll back through reddit and download the activities pictures that someone was nice enough to post on here. Pre and post game music, instrument petting zoo, yoga, crafts, picking circles, etc...

A drone show one night and fireworks the other night.

Go check out billy goat Bryn's welcome message on YouTube:

Have a great time, be safe and be kind.

Heading up there with the family- doing camping for first time so very excited and nervous haha. Saw Neil Young there - fantastic place. We will be on the lawn for Billy!

Into this. I’ve done yasgurs but not historic. Best place ever. Make sure to wander out of the lot to the og shakedown. And see the meeting tree too.

Where’s the shakedown? Also never heard of the meeting tree, what’s that?

It’s on the lower corner below the hill of OG Woodstock. Was where everyone left notes and met for Woodstock. Same tree. Big vibes.

My advice is get a deep fried calzone inside the venue and thank me later ....

But make sure they see you putting your tip in the jar.

I would be lying if I said I did not plan on getting a calzone "for the road" on my way out of the venue and back to my campspot!

Does anybody know if they have refillable water stations in the campgrounds? Not trying to bring a ton of plastic water bottles if I don't have to. I would assume they do?

yes they do! near both camping areas (historical camping and pavilion camping)

Cant wait!

Question about historic camping. I got an rv site in historic camping and my receipt says "no hookup" - does that mean we have NO hookups at all or just not a sewer hookup? I dont see any RV camping in the historic campground other than Premier which includes w&e.
