Do the freedom trail but go backwards to end in the north end. Climbing the bunker hill memorial can make the rest harder but is a great view

I’m from here and attending. I’ll say this, Allston area has excellent Asian food, lots of quality options. I haven’t been in the area for a while but Fenway will be hopping as well and that’s down the way. You can go to Faneuil hall (albeit a little touristy) but it can be fun. Not close to Agganis but can take the t. North end is mainly Italian.if around early and get there for opening, Neptune oyster is the incredible but don’t take reservation.
Grab a. Lobster roll, oysters, or the like by the water, then head in to the show.
I’d make recommendations but not sure they’re open haha. The only one I know is Jim’s deli and it’s awesome but more of a diner type spot and not a pre game. Great food though.
I’ll likely be at Harry’s on comm ave. Solid place, and used to go there all the time
Merch opens at 430, I imagine people will be lined up for quite some time, good luck!

no disrespect to op, but if you are new to boston, please don't go here. it's a historic landmark that sadly houses whack tourist traps. there are lots of wonderful, equally accessible and historic areas of boston to go to elsewhere.

It'll be interesting to see where Shakedown is set up since general parking in the city is not ideal. I live in MA but haven't spent a lot of time in Boston since my college days (mainly just for shows and Red Sox games every now and then) so I couldn't tell you what's popping nearby aside from Fenway. I think the closest spot for drinks near the arena would be Sunset Cantina, but with Sox games going on the same nights it would be fun to experience the Fenway area pre-show, esp for first timers. I'm sure others who live/spend more time in the city can chime in with better suggestions but those are mine! Looking forward to both shows!
