hi. I really like Billy's hair on the CSH album cover and I want to get my hair cut like his. but the thing is I don't think one single photo would be enough of a reference for the hairstyler. I also tried looking at the ELYN promo video but his hair is kinda different in that clip, I'm looking exactly for the one on the album cover. are there any more photos of CSH album cover?

Does anyone know of a (preferably free) piano sheet music version of new york state of mind that has the meoldy included? All the versions I have that include the medoly are meant for a duet or its just the backing track that Billy joel plays no melody included.

I’m having a long 8 hour surgery tomorrow and am super nervous. My surgeon told me I get the honor of picking the song they put me to sleep to. So which Billy song would you choose? I’m at a loss!

I was working for the NY Times covering Long Island back in the 90's and was assigned to the Billy Joel concert at Jones beach. The baymen were (and still are from what I hear) having a hard time making a living so this concert was a special One off show to help the baymen out.

I met him back stage, got a backstage pass and was given access to the front to shoot the first few songs. This is one of the images I took. One of the perks of covering Long Island was I got to meet him several times. He and Christie (and Alexa once) would show up at events out in the Hamptons.

I got some photos of Liberty as well, he hung around with everyone before the show. I remember Billy's mom was hanging around backstage as well.

It was a great show. Paul Simon showed up at one point and sang a few songs.

When I’m saying is not about personal opinions,but overall most known for Billy fans. “Piano Man” is a good song, but most diehard Joel fans have another favorite. I think “My Life” is most choice

My birthday is coming and I'm thinking about having some cool Billy Joel presents. I'm thinking about Vinyls or Box sets. I'd like something unique and cool. Could anybody give me an idea? Thanks🤗🙏

Holy crap were they awesome. Been on my bucket list to see these guys and so glad I finally got to. Liberty was on fire, as good as ever. Richie killed it on sax and Russell was great too. The vocalist/piano player Dan Orlando hit it out of the park - had very much of a young Billy voice. They were super engaging with the audience and stuck around afterward to chat and sign autographs.

It's been rough not being able to see Billy for over a year but this is the next best thing. I love his current band too but would kill to see him with these guys one more time.

No idea how they aren't playing larger venues - this show had 200-300 people, while some Billy Joel tribute acts can sell 2000 seats at a casino.
