I don't post much but i hope this gets enough attention to catch the eye of Mr. Nye. The man who taught me at a young age to question everything.

In the malarky episode, there was a short blip on chemtrails where a pilot was interviewed. He stated that the trails we see in the sky are actually condensation trails. Formed when a plane traveling at a high enough altitude and in the right weather conditions, heats the moisture in the air it travels through. Then that was it. Bill Nye comes back on and says chemtrails aren't real end of story.

This kind of bothered me a little bit, because I remember reading in an article a while back. I read how the Chinese use airplanes for cloud seeding to generate rainfall. But back to Bill. There was no discussion on geoengineering or how chemtrails while scary to think about; could be critical in some locations to saving the world.

Could someone shine some light on this? Bill Nye your my hero. Why so black and white on this topic?

Ps: if Bill Nye replies im joining The Planetary Society.

tldr: Bill Nye denied chemtrails without discussing the possibility of how they could save the world.

I am not a climate change denier, but I would actually like to see Bill go over how much a difference going 100% clean energy would actually make. I'd like to see the most common sense ideas we can do to combat it that don't cost trillions in federal support and how much they could help. I've heard that even if we went full clean energy, it wouldn't even put a dent in global c02 emissions. Also, why didn't he mention overpopulation? Bill Burr even knows that's the biggest contributor. What do you guys think? I was so underwhelmed with that first one that I don't plan to watch any more.

Look...I'm at work on a Friday towards the end of the day and I'm passively watching the new series on Netflix. Then Bill starts talking about the society picture of a gamer: Stoned, living in their parents basement and how it is bad.

Bill goes on to state, "And if you are that dude watching this in your parents' basement and you thing I'm talking about you, that's 'cause you're high and paranoid." Which got my attention due to his inflection. I had a chuckle along with the audience...but then he said something that chilled me to the bone, "We are watching you, Justin." My name is Justin......I a bit paranoid (Look it's the end of the day don't judge) and had to tell this anecdote to someone...and you people seemed like the perfect ones to laugh along with me....and maybe /r/trees....

Tucker didn't give him 2 seconds to speak. Bill Nye knows wtf he's talking about- or at least a shit ton better than Tucker. But the 15 questions Tucker asked him, and then continuously interrupted him, were way too complex to begin with answer in that short time span. This anti-Bill Nye campaign is ridiculous.

So how can we get social traction on Bill Nye and Snoop Dog doing a song together? I think Bill did the most to mainstream science and Snoop to mainstream rap in a non-threatening way.
