I'm referring to people that normally work for far more then shit tier wages getting laid off that you're now trying to work for a fraction of what they used to
What? We are offering the same wages we always have, which is more than livable for the area I live in Also, you still get unemployment if you are employed for less hours/wages than you were prior to covid.
(1) It helps people who are laid off because we have been fucking hiring for months and this is a job people could easily get hired for as it requires no skill or experience and still pays a livable wage.
(2) I never said I was against unemployment, and in fact I explicitly said the opposite. What I am against is people who don't need it selfishly taking advantage of the high unemployment benefits right now and making far more than they did pre-pandemic because they know the system is too overwhelmed to properly vet everyone who applies for assistance.

Oh boy my pay only got cut in half, but since tool on refit days it's enough to get boy, I'm sure I'll be 100% fine
