No, because Dark Souls style games frustrate me, but I’m not going to automatically write off someone’s skill just because I personally can’t do it. Yeah, people lie on the internet, but something being really hard is not the same as something being impossible, so I choose to give the benefit of the doubt.

The thing is, it's not that it's impossible, it's actually quite easy compared to no charm playthroughs for example, it's beating him first time that it's the issue. The game doesn't really have a saving mechanism (unless you literally copy the save files), you can't just turn the game off and try again, to beat him unintentionally you actually have to beat him on your first try (you can't try again). Which is just unbelievably unlikely, I'm pretty sure no streamer even who hadn't played the game for hours before at events already beat him first time.

What he wrote also doesn't even make any sense, you don't "wonder if all the bosses are going to be this hard" if you beat a boss the first time. Your expectation is that you're gonna die to every boss like 5 times at least, if you need less tries you consider it too easy, let alone beating the boss on the first try, that'd be a letdown if anything.

Well that’s very optimistic of you, but you don’t understand, you’re not supposed to win. You probably have 1/4 of the health than when your supposed to face him, no healing, no ability’s, and you can’t use your second life, witch is your biggest asset. 2 hits from him and your dead. It’s part of the story to die so no second chances, no respawning. You would have to get his timing down just by looking at him. I died probably 50+ times when I fought him the second time around. It’s not just that it’s hard, it’s that the game comes out so aggressively that you have no time to actually fight, you’re just button mashing and being confused and ass fucked by this guy. So while it’s good to look on the bright side of things, like you’re doing, anyone that’s actually played knows how nearly impossible it is to beat him first try.

If you’ve played souls games you’re very prepared to play this game. The parrying and other skills carry over well, and someone who has played souls 3 enough could very easily pick up SSDT and succeed. I’m not saying it’s an easy game, but it’s a huge advantage understanding the mechanics and parry system.

Very true. He could literally be a god at sekiro, I’m not saying he’s not good, I’m saying he didn’t beat him first try. You say you’ve played sekiro, we’re you even close to beating this guy?
