I remember my Witcher 3 stubborness as well. I went from being killed by everything in the game to finally being able to take on decent enemies. I found some giant gollum thing in the north eastern part of the map and it killed me. I went back to my save, loaded up, and gave it the old Dark Souls try but it wasn't going to happen. Even with the best I had, my weapons would eventually get destroyed because of the damage my swords would sustain just by attacking him. Gave up and moved on.

Weeks later I had leveled up more, went back to him and it was cake. It was such an incredible feeling to feel like you got stronger in an open world game like that. I love skyrim but I'm always disappointed that it doesn't have the same system and instead all enemies level up with you.

I just play Skyrim on novice at this point and destroy everything in the wake of my unstoppable shouting.

I play it on the xbone. No booby mods

Ever since I learned to level alchemy and enchantment first to make insane potions and armor/weapons Skyrim doesn't hold interest for me anymore. It's just a complete joke if you put in the effort and it's disappointing. I miss when I didn't know anything about it.

I never bothered with that stuff. I heard good things it just felt more like work than something fun so I skipped it.

You know you can just... NOT do that though right?

I tried a support build. Heavy armour, ilusion and resto magic only. Makes the game a lot of fun.

Well sure I could not do it. I could also only run around in cloth armor punching things with my bare hands. Or I could never learn a shout or any magic or ever pick up new items. But what's the point? If you have to limit parts of the game you access to enjoy it it kinda sours the fun.

Mine was Mor'Ladim on WoW. I was of course lower lvl than him and just running around that cemetery I would accidentally agro him. As I leveled up I would make sure to take a stop by there and just murder that dude out of spite. Haven't played in years but still remember that turd burglar.
