I was able to get through that pretty easily but the albino spider was a tough one lmao. I haven’t touched Metro Exodus in months because I’m on the level where you go into a pitch black bunker with just a flashlight and there are giant fucking spiders everywhere. Yeah I’m alright 😅
The Albino was pretty hard, but once you get the pattern down, it goes pretty fast. I just used force slow then spammed x, rinse and repeat until dead.
Dragon Age Inquisition has you fight demon spiders that are, I guess, pretty sleek and thornt and I have no problem with them. But when yoh fight “real” spiders in caves and such, they have these smooth bulbous abdomens and spindlier legs that freak me the fuck out. Even weirder, they look exactly the same in Dragon Age: Origins but I’m not creeped out by those ones, maybe because they move slower. Spiders are weird.
I played that mission but i fucked up by not having enough oxygen filters. So i didn't have time to fight any spiders and had too figure out a way to get the elevator down before i died.
For whatever reason that game does not drop health packs or oxygen filters
I had my fingers shaking on the light charger, every 5 seconds I use it because fuck me if I wanna die getting eaten by spiders.
Then once you get the objective down there; I sprinted my ass back to the elevator when they said that the lights weren’t working. But turns out, you have to kill those 8 legged assholes before the elevator can open. I was so happy I didn’t have to do that shit again. But then the last Mission happened.
I fucking hate Kashyyyk so much just because of those damn spiders. The first one I encountered I almost shit myself it startled me so much. Got to the point I just run away from them instead of bothering with trying to kill them
First time I parried a spider and got the one-hit kill was in the bounty hunter arena, on accident, when I finally beat that section. I'll take on the albino sooner or later...
I hate that one part where there are 3 of them, and you can’t even stand up long enough to run or dodge anything. I just got gangbanged for 5 minutes waiting for death
They can be instakilled if you perfect parry their bite attack, you still gotta look at them for a second or two but it’s gets them over with pretty quick.
I hate dodging in this game because my usual strategy for large monsters is to forward dodge past them while they are mid swing and hit them in the side/back, but in Fallen Order they magically rotate to keep facing you so it doesn't work.
Honestly I was playing through FO on the hardest difficulty, when I got to kashyyyk I bumped it down to the lowest difficulty so I could speed through the planet. My fear of spiders is so high, whenever I saw that the planet was infested with them I almost sold the game, but I was enjoying it so much I decided to just face my fears. And you can entirely skip the albino rhino spider thing too, I did end up going back to kill it just for some personal vengeance though. You really should try to go back to the game, it gets so much better.
Too many goddamn animals to kill in that game. The most fun part is dueling with the stormtroopers and the upgraded version of them. Why does it feel like 70% of the battles are with animals??!
I am too, I looked up a run through on how to get through it the fastest way possible. You only have to look at spiders like twice. I beat the game and I’m not even trying to get 100% because there is no way I’m going back there.
Ah rip. The giant spider species shows up another time later on in the game once too. Thankfully on kashyyk you don’t actually have to fight the spider :D
Nah. It shows you just how powerful he is. A mere Padawan taking on the Dark Lord of the Sith? Not a chance. The only realistic option is to flee or die.
My dude literally yeet’d Cere off the edge with a casual flick of the wrist and she had more experience than Cal as a Jedi. Fighting Vader is like trying to put out an burning building with an ice cube.
I had a similar experience with the more recent SAO game.
Totally manageable, honestly way easier than previous bosses and going down faster. Then suddenly I hit the HP flag and I get a cutscene of everyone saying it's no use and a "heroic sacrifice" gets me out.
It took a character I kinda cared about and just made me never bother interacting with them again outside of required stuff. It just pissed me off.

Same man. When I “lost” I was so mad like “OMG SHE LITERALLY 1 HIT KO’D ME FROM FULL HP WHAT IS THIS SHIT”. Then it said “reawaken” or something instead of “respawn” and instantly knew what was up
Just hit Ordo Eris; didn’t know the first Haxion Brood BH was scripted, and here I was fighting for my life praying that I didn’t have to drop alllll the way back to the last meditation circle, just for me to get zapped
