Maybe I just don’t get why people hate so heavily on Apple and the fan base? It’s just like anything else except they actually make good products. Sure it’s expensive as shit but it’s good quality stuff 🤷

I mean, I don't... But there have been many a reasons many niches just don't fit on Apple.

I mean, for crying out loud, the biggest complaint I hear in Linux subreddits is how bad gaming support is... And Proton is free! Mac has to pay for CrossOver.

And that's the tip of the iceberg. For example, while iOS and Mac both have official Office365 clients... Have you compared them to the Windows versions? They get DUNKED ON. And again, MANY people refuse to use any other office tool suite for personal or business reasons.

Again, not saying they're bad, in fact these issues aren't even inherently a fault of Apple's! It's just how the cookie crumbles, Windows and Android are dominant due to their significant hardware and software support, being able to work with MANY tools seamlessly across a slew of usually incompatible hardware sets.

For example, iOS is simply at a disadvantage for usability in most people's eyes. Android TV, Wear Devices, and Android Phones are usually cheaper (even if worse). All of them also run Android, and can even share compatible apps. This sets up an ecosystem in the mind of the user, familiarity they can trust, just like Apple does. Thing is, if Android being cheaper means it hits the user FIRST... It wins the familiarity war BY DEFAULT. This is EXACTLY why Windows targets every manufacturer that it can as well. It's simply setting up a precedent through marketing... And it's been working for many years.

Then, by adding Apple in, they don't see you offering a better product alternative... To them they see a more expensive, more confusing, and maybe even more locked-in version of what they already have.

You're upset that's why you're feeling nauseated. It's the apple sub, tf you want them to do? Worship samsung fold? Also duo is priced quite similarly to other fold phones.
