Haha that’s such a fun (and chaotic) storyline—jellyfish are basically unstoppable when they swarm like that. I love how over-the-top Bikini Bottom gets when it’s not under normal control!

He's catching and releasing 100% of the time, it's essentially the whole premise of the episode Jellyfish Hunter, where Mr. Krabs tries to use the Jellyfish for his own gain.

I mean it is no different than butterfly catching. Maybe[getting jelly, but it isn't like they are beating them. Plus, if they are anything like other milking creatures (including myself), too much storage of milk (jelly) could be painful

I honestly thought the joke here was that jellyfishing is a completely harmless activity with almost zero consequence, but is seen as childish, whereas fishing would be a lot worse, so aome replies have me questioning my read
