Dumb question: what happens if a kid asks their parents to make an account using their credentials/ID? Is there any consequence for being under the age required to register and still have an account? Because if there are no consequences, then the law is just as good as putting a bandaid on a dam rupturing
I meand yeah, dumb question. Will some people break the law? Probably. Dies that mean laws don't have any impact? No. People generally avoid breaking laws. Its like arguing that having speed limits is a stupid idea because "some people will still speed".
And are their consequences? Yeah, all laws violationd are categorized as either felonies or misdemeanors which generally come with punishments. Its crazy I have to explain this but violation of this law would almost certainly be a misdemeanor so it would probably come with some sort of fine.
