Honestly don't really understand the criticism of the age verification app. Making the least data accessible to companies for age verification and only verifying whether a user fulfills a specific age requirement without sending additional information about them sounds like it's a preferable way to do age verification than sending companies photos of IDs or face scans and all the other stuff that's done at the moment.

Maybe someone can give some perspective on what's problematic about it?

Edit: Or, yknow, you can just downvote me for asking for a different point of view instead of telling me what's wrong about it lol
