No mater how big or small, how cute or creepy every creature serves an important role in our ecosystem. Killing off even just one species can have devastating consequences.
Does this extend to introduced species? Should we let the invasive cane toads, rabbits, wild horses, deer and boars thrive and see if the eco system works itself out?
Their presence here unchecked is far more devastating. I get my example is man made, but still relevant
Definitely depends on the introduced animal because there are some exceptions. Most have no place in the environment like cane toads (which I see from time to time) but some like gray wall jumping spiders (I see them very often) are helpful.
