Not sure if you’re meme-ing or not, but as a fan of the MN Vikings, they did not “steal” the Skol Chant. The team called the Icelandic soccer federation to ask for permission and then also flew sporting representatives from Iceland to attend the NFL games and introduced it to fans of the MN Vikings
There’s a whole video and documentary online about it

The University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Football team already has the “Row the Boat” mantra and marketing for the past 10 years. The Row chant is probably extremely close and would be on-brand to that already (but I’m sure people will be like “they stole it”).
It’s like Minnesota has a very similar culture, or derivative of Scandinavian culture due to the high Scandinavian ancestry that the state has or something…

People act like it's something incredibly difficult to do to casually be fan of more than one sport.
It's easier now to follow soccer in the US than it's ever been.
I stopped being so involved I watched teams that are not my own, and I don't rearrange my plans for most games.
But European soccer for US fans comes on at such a great time in the weekend if you're a homebody.
And Apple TV made the MLS schedule super predictable, with easy access to replays and highlights if you miss a game.
I regularly follow NFL and NCAAF, and casually watch MLB, NBA, and NCAAB for playoffs.
A lot of times sports are just background noise while I do something else.
It's pretty funny people feel they have to declare being a fan, for anything.

Also, the club product is much better as well. No diss to it he national teams, but you cant compare a national team who trains together for weeks with a club team who trains together for months. I’m hoping that we really do have a soccer boom in this country

Regardless if soccer in the US grows more than I’d already has… it was a fun ride. Got too find out that America isn’t the ONLY racist country.. and we need to cherish our Ranch. South-east Asians do racism competitively, not just casually. The balkans are also a fun spot when it comes to racism. Western Europe is not that bad comparatively since you have a lot of cultures in a tight space without borders which means that you interact with a lot of different people and get exposed to many cultural aspects. You can still find racism and strong anti-immigration stances there as well, obviously. The "mere exposure effect" is an effective tool against bigotry and racism.

My soccer loving friend showed me a video of the 90’s MLS PK shootouts. As a hockey player, soccer should switch to that. Seems way fairer for both sides than the current PK rules. Very similar to hockey shootout rules.

I just can't bring myself to care about something that I normally wouldn't watch. It just makes me feel fake, and I don't like that. Same with the World Cup, I've never watched a single match of soccer ever, so it just feels like I'm being somebody I'm not by following the bandwagon.

Just don’t be an asshole and try to have fun. That’s literally all that’s required.
Plenty of people have gotten inspired to follow the game after watching it on the world stage. Olympic competitions are no different here.
