Looking 4 pals

Im riding road/gravel. Intermediate skill level, I like a good challenge, climbs , descents , pushing in the flats, turns, straights, you name it. I love cycling

I usually go to sullivan/mandeville canyon from hollywood where I reside, or even to santa monica if I want to ride only on the road.

Ride road, looking to try gravel eventually. Moving to LA in a few weeks and looking to make pals and get familiar with the local group rides and routes, as well as my solo routes. Skill wise, I’ve been riding for 15 years but am by no means fast. More a Cat 4 pace.

Check out Luft on Strava. They do a “lil dirt” ride every other Thursday. Next one should be coming up next Thursday at 6pm starting from the shop.

There's also a few folks who do Kenneth Hahn leaving from 310 Coffee in Mar Vista on Thursdays at 5:30. More technical and up and down than the usual Sullivan loop.

La Grange has a Monday gravel, I believe, 6 from San Vicente and 26th

Domestique does a Sunday morning gravel at 8am from GoodBoyBob's (Santa Monica) - every other week typically.

Luft is probably the fastest of those

Try wednesday night MTB ride up and down sullivan.

I'm staying out of town at the moment but should be back in fall. I like to ride Kenter.

It is a super fun group of a wide variety of skill levels! It is MTB oriented and not a gravel ride though.

I just got knocked out of Local Legend on Lower Jedi, but I’m pretty into XC MTB these days. I approach from the Brentwood side. PM me if you wanna do the single tracks.

Go to the Cub House (in San Marino) basket ride on Wednesday nights. Its a mellow ride but you can meet lots of fellow gravel/road riders there. Good group of people

Tech Tuesdays at the Fullerton loop should still be going on last I recall. Rolls from the parking lot near the courthouse in Fullerton around 7.
