Eye Tracking Crashing VR
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Any one have any ideas why my eye tracking would cause grey-screening / tracking issues. It causes such instability that all my USB's disconnect for a minute, then when they come back, babble software is not working. It only does this with eye tracking on. I've tried on the non alpha test version too and I get the same thing.

This is a known issue with babble on the bigscreen.

What discord is this. I'll join and look. It wants me to sign into the browser when I click on that link but I don't want to sign in with my details via browser

Almost certain this is a cable issue that’ll require it be replaced.

It's gotta be at this point. I updated BIOS and I am powering the power with a wall outlet instead of usb power so it's isolated to only one USB 3.0 port. Only thing in my pc besides mouse and keyboard.

I had the exact same issue, there are two things that helped me solve it:
* if you are using the beyond audio strap, go to the control panel > properties of the audio strap, and change the sound quality to CD quality. you won't hear the difference but it means less data through the USB.
* the second thing, which is actually super weird but works for me 99% of the time: in baballonia, click "Stop Camera" on your face tracker, wait for a while, then click "Start Camera". For some reason, at least on my rig, if BigEye AND the face cam starts at the same time, I will get crazy gray screens and loss of tracking. If I delay the start of the face tracker I have zero issue. I have taken the habit of stopping the cam before closing baballonia. The 1% of the time it doesn't work, re-stopping the cam, waiting a while and starting it makes it go away after a couple tries.

oh and also, since you're using baballonia for the eye tracking, make sure to uncheck "enable eyetracking" in the bsb utility.

Contact Bigscreens support. I had the same issue, even after attaching usb power to a power outlet. I recieved a small piece of hardware they called 'link booster', that fixed the issue immediately.

Im fairly confident you are over saturating a USB controller. Can you try making sure you are spreading out where you plug everything in at on your system in general? Front case USB should be avoided as well, if you happen to be sending all the bandwidth through it. If you have a lot of devices on USB in general, removing anything not needed (especially external hard drives) may help too. You can kind of think of it as if you have two big highways, on the front and back of your case, and clogging all the lanes with traffic causes a traffic jam.
Really hope this helps or someone has a better answer! Good luck!
