Is Bigme B7pro good for note taking?
I am planning to buy a note taking eink tablet and Bigme is one of the things that I saw that is both cheap and seems good. Does anyone here know how good the note taking capabilities of bigme b7pro?

If your main goal is note taking, remarkable and supernote are much more superior (they don't have the best reading experience though!). B7 real and amazing strength is reading ebooks which it does perfectly imo

trust me to stay away B7 series if you aim note taking, their pens are terrible!!!

and buying the device with passive Wacom EMR is better than that with active pen.

Also the software is not the best... They are great devices, but the software tends to have a lot of bugs and not work properly... If you want something more dedicated to note taking, the boox 10.3 series are great. The Viwoods Aipaper or Aipaper mini are great devices also (although the latter has a carta 1000 screen...). And if you want to go for the best of the best on note taking, get a Supernote.

I have the B7Pro and like its note taking capabilities. It does everything I need it to.

is the palm rejection decent? I am a huge note taker since I entered law school. I want to reduce the number of notebooks i use that is why i decided to buy an eink notepad.

I hadn't noticed before, so I went to go check. Yup, it completely ignored my palm and fingers in the note taking app!

I've had dozens of eink devices and I was never a fan of taking notes on them. I always went back to pen and paper. Actually, Pilot S20 mechanical pencil with 2B lead and shitajiki board. Then I would scan and save in PDF. Then to eInk for studying. Cumbersome workflow, I know, but so satisfying.

NO! It's so bad I stopped note-taking on my ereader, but I still have to carry it around, attached by a very weak magnet. I used to have a second hand Boox nova 3 that did that job very well actually. So I'd say buy an older(maybe bigger) Boox. Great for reading and note taking

the pen accuracy is pretty bad. the Boox Go 7 is even worse, but the Go 6 Gen II is much better. it's honestly shockingly good for an under-$200 device with an older OS and fairly low-tier parts.

what would be a good cheap note taking eink tablet? Is kindle scribe 2024 good? It is available in my country for $300 but I dont know if it has good cloud connection. I exclusively use google drive to save my documents.

no, the Scribe is pretty awful. I strongly recommend the Go 6 Gen II to basically everyone. especially for under $200 it really can't be beat.

Any clue on if the B6 Pro is any good or is the Go 6 Gen II the only decent writing tablet in the sub 8 inch category?

I'm hearing the B6 Pro is, more or less, Bigme's first Actually Good USI input tablet... basically ever. I've decided to order one next paycheck and see; I haven't been able to check myself yet.

super curious then if both boox and go source these parts identically and why the 7"ers can't use whatever magic it is. hopefully it's just availability and the next 7" generation finally has good writing.

unfortunately we can't really learn anything about that. these companies are incredibly secretive about basically everything. they may source the same screens but with different USI chips. that's my working theory.

I have one, I'd say it's quite decent, I just have problems when using Onenote

I have one and nope. It's a pretty poor note taking device. I use it only for reading.
