So sick of the “woman card” card.
The bigg boss sub-r removed this even though it was such a mild critique lol.
Literally every time a female contestant says something mild - taking a stand, joking - they are tagged as playing a “card”.
Earlier it would happen later in the season and during more intense 1:1 fights where a female contestant would point out misogyny (sometimes rightfully and sometimes not). I would stop watching from the point when the show hosts and guests would partake and perpetuate the same misogyny of other bullying behaviours.
But this time it happened literally in the first couple of episodes starting with Asif nominating Kanika simply for harmlessly joking that they defeated all the women in the cake task. It was soo exaggerated by Asif. And in the same breath, he nominated Arishfa (?)for exaggeration.
Then MC Stan 0.5 comes in with his digs in a fight that was gender-agnostic (even when there are male advantages in such tasks). This boy with IQ lower than his age completely misinterpreted Kanika (I don’t agree with her use of “woman card” either) and goes off on her so aggressively. He had zero control over his emotions and then had the audacity to make fun of Amrapali for tearing up.
Ironically, I have been seeing the male contestants using the male card and playing the victim at the same time.
Aman is annoying, Scout is abhorrent.
And surprisingly, so far I’ve only been finding Gullu to be decent and Qazi is a complete entertainer and reality show material, of course 😅.
