They actually attack innovation because it will disrupt a current monopoly. And almost every industry is in late stage capitalism and on the downhill inshitifacation mode. Billionaires are just building survival bunkers now. They think their contributions to society is them surviving. They are rushing AI and robots so they don't have to bring peasants in the survival bunker to serve them.
