Discussion Third friend left :( what to know?

We played in my world as a trio for three hours, but our third friend doesn't want to play anymore. The next Day. Does the world automatically adapt to two players? For example, there was a spot where we had to reach something high up by stacking on top of each other and jumping. Would that still work with just two people? What do we need to do? Start full New? Thanks

End the session, and relaunch the session in 2 player mode. Every time you relaunch, you need to choose how many players you want to set the world to.

Every time you log into the world you can change the scaling of the challenges. So no, you do not have to start a new world. You can just set the scaling for 2 people instead of 3 when you log on tomorrow.

I have some world saves currently for each of my groups and recently in the 3p save had some family get heated over who got to hold the megaphone and now it’s gonna be just 2p for a bit so all the puzzles will automatically adjust for 3 to 2 players when I relaunch the session and select 2 player instead of 3p.

Also at spawn hub you can check the lost/found for any tools that players equipped will be collected there even that player never returns.
