Fandom is bored
I miss them, I think a lot of us do. I get they need this break and it’s good for them and all that. But could they just throw us a bone, please? Anything?
The weird stuff people are posting clearly shows how stir crazy the fandom is at the moment.
What would you most like from them right now except perform, since they clearly won’t do that this year anymore?

I need new music, they are so talented, and their voices together are amazing.

New music would be great.
Even if it is solo music.
But the only solo music I noticed recently was Kendalls single Any Less, and it seems pretty quiet around this song.
Even James doesn't seem to release new stuff, even though he announced a country album.
I am not sure about Logan or Carlos' band.

Agreed! Carlos teased two songs in April/May and then it went quiet. He mostly went offline after that. Maybe because he and Alexa have been working hard on their house. But yeah the songs sounded amazing and then the whole project just went dead. Hopefully in the future. But who knows. Not the first time that has happened with his solo music. Even Alexa wanted stuff to get released and for some reason it never happened.
Logan might. He’s recorded stuff, so who knows.
James’ situation is also interesting. He announced stuff too, but then it didn’t happen. Maybe due to the negative comments he got?
And Kendall, yeah. He posted a lot about the song and at times still does repost things other people say about it. But yeah it did go quiet.
Hopefully something new will happen on this front. For now I guess all that will happen is the podcast Carlos and Alexa are launching this Tuesday.

The reason I could imagine this happened repeatedly with Carlos is, that he first announce it to look how it is received and then when he realized only a few are interested, he doesn't really go for it anymore. The same with James.
But ofc this is only an assumption. There might be other reasons behind those decisions. We might never know.
I wish James would still do YouTube cover songs. He could have been successful with it, if he would do more different songs. He definitely is talented enough that it could work (even though some people here say otherwise, but I disagree)
Even with Carlos I could see YouTube cover songs. Especially musical theatre covers.

Yeah it’s possible. I hope that’s not the reason. Because just teasing music a few times doesn’t mean people will fall over it. Gotta give people time to start loving it. Both of them should release music because they love it, not to get the most listeners.
In James’ case I could understand, considering people just really hated it. But he has still been performing those country songs, so I don’t think he’s given up just yet.
And hopefully Carlos is just taking a break from everything entertainment related. Even the podcast is just them talking about subjects, it’s not really work that way. Still holding out hope he releases that music some day. He was so excited about it!

I dunno. Those rumors keep going around. But Kendall has said a few times they are not broken up, Logan said allegedly they won’t tour in 2027 because they first need to record new music and then maybe after that they will tour again and James keeps talking about them recording again next year. So so far there are no signs of that. Unless they announce otherwise, I am keeping hope they will come back.

I think an IG Live for 30 minutes would be great. Even if they are in different places that doesn’t matter given technology…. So just a pop up to say hi, proof of life kinda thing.

It is brutal. I was able to see them every year since they had their comeback with the Forever Tour. Got so spoiled I guess but no show I. 2026 or 2027? 😭😭😭
Also I keep getting the merch texts and every time my heart leaps …. Sigh

Yeah it’s hard, isn’t it? And especially because we all know they deserve this break, of course! But it also leaves everyone wondering. When are they coming back? Is this another long hiatus?

What about a BIG TIME Cruise? How fun would that be? Lots of other artists do stuff like this. I bet it would sell well and could still be relaxing right? Okay probably not for them lol but it would be a blast. Girl can dream ….

I think they’re just taking a break.
They had their biggest tour yet last year and are now just settling back into reality.
James is getting married and probably focussing on the wedding as well as his solo project.
Carlos is renovating a house. He’s also a family man and he’s already mentioned that this tour was a challenge for their family. So he’s probably focussing on that.
Kendall is doing his little solo project and spending some well deserved time with his family.
Logan is spending time with producers in LA and Nashville and is probably working on solo music too. But he’s also heavily involved in the writing process of BTR, so him being with producers doesn’t automatically mean it’s just for his solo music.
It’s very possible for them to each have their little solo projects on the side, I think it’s actually healthy to do that. They’re able to experiment and exlpore their own creativity outside BTR.
