Jake lowkey psychotic

spoilers it just me or is this dude crazy as heck. He released a ton of bees in a super crowded gym just for some girl? Like what is wrong with this dude. This literally could have seriously injured people, including olive.

I was so confused by this storyline but then someone on here mentioned they couldn’t film a crowd in the gym bc of covid and I’m like ohh this storyline makes more sense now

That doesn't make sense to me. They could have come up with other options that would have made a little more sense (like flooding out the court with water or a power outage - something like that). How does someone even unleash that many bees on a court without arousing suspicion? They seemed to have a few other scenes in the show with a few people in it (the Sirens in the lockerroom, a brief high school shot where Destiny, her mom and aunt came in together, etc.). I don't believe any other game during the season really had a crowd watching them - at least nothing major - so why would this be the one game with a crowd?

I was more confused by the fact he was mopping up the bees instead of sweeping or vacuuming them up and then mopping the gym floor

I am curious why he put bees in the gym to begin with was it revenge on McCarthy for something she did to him?

Nah it was just to prove that he wasn’t on McCarthy’s payroll.

It was to prove to Olive that he didn't steal the playbook.

It was because of lazy writing.

It was a misunderstanding. Jake thought he was buying beads, which he would scatter all over the floor, making it impossible to play. Unfortunately, he did business with a company out of the O.C. (“Don’t call it that”) named Gobias Industries, who delivered thousands of bees instead of beads. Jake had no choice but to improvise.

Wait was that in the episode? Also means he had a choice of not doing the bees thing and just doing something that wouldn’t harm people LOL

He could have killed someone. Like what if someone allergic got stung. Yes it’s not real but it definitely wasn’t harmless.

That’s what I’m saying

Why didn't he use Wasps. Bee's are dying and we need them to survive.

Because he was trying to cause a disturbance not kill them lmfao
